BELIEVE FOR IT!

"Faith as small as a mustard seed," spoken by Jesus in Matthew 17:20, means that even a tiny, seemingly insignificant amount of genuine trust in God is sufficient to produce miraculous, mountain-moving results. It highlights that the power lies in God, not the quantity of human faith."

Yes, believe for it!
What are you believing God for?
This verse below both encourages me and bewilders me. ๐Ÿ˜„

Matthew 17:20 NIV –
He replied, โ€œBecause you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, โ€˜Move from here to there,โ€™ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.โ€

A mustard seed??
How big is a mustard seed? ๐Ÿ˜…
I quote from AI Overview – mustard seeds are tiny ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ, typically measuring 1-2 mm in diameter, roughly the size of a pinhead. They are small, round seeds, often compared to grains of sand or poppy seeds. Despite their small size, they can grow into large, robust plants that can reach 6 to 30 feet in height. ๐Ÿ˜…

“Faith as small as a mustard seed,” spoken by Jesus in Matthew 17:20, means that even a tiny, seemingly insignificant amount of genuine trust in God is sufficient to produce miraculous, mountain-moving results. It highlights that the power lies in God, not the quantity of human faith.”

Today, we look at the woman with the issue of blood.
Please read Mark 5:24-34.

Mark 5:27-29 NIV –
When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28 because she thought, โ€œIf I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.โ€ 29 Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.

Mark 5:34 NIV –
He said to her, โ€œDaughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.โ€

Hallelujah!!!
Praaaaaaaaaaise the ย Lord!!!

He has done great things (3x)
Bless His Holy Name!!!

What a wow!
What a God!

Faith!
It is a powerful thing in the hands of a powerful God!
God is sovereign and we canโ€™t manipulate Him with our prayers , but we can appeal canโ€™t we?
His word is true.
I think of the parable of the persistent widow.

Luke 18:6-8 NIV –
And the Lord said, โ€œListen to what the unjust judge says.
7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?โ€

God is our Father in heaven and oh, how He loves us.
How else would He have sent His own Son to die on the cross for you and I. Have you fully comprehended that love?
I havenโ€™t!
Iโ€™m in complete awe.
God loves me, even me, Carol Emily Naa Lamiokor Clegg – Lamptey! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

This story comes to mind.
It was one of the readings in my church yesterday.
I was paying attention huh? ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜‡

Matthew 8:8-10 NIV –
The centurion replied, โ€œLord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, โ€˜Go,โ€™ and he goes; and that one, โ€˜Come,โ€™ and he comes. I say to my servant, โ€˜Do this,โ€™ and he does it.โ€
10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, โ€œTruly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.

Jesus Himself was amazed.
Oh wow!
May we also amaze Him with our faith!

BUT, the bottom line remains, God is God and God is good. He is Sovereign.
His ways are not our ways. We may have enormous faith, but what we desire may not be Godโ€™s plan for us.
Let us never forget to pray according to His will and know that in all things, God works for our good, we who are called according to His purpose and who love Him.

Faith as small as a mustard seed huh?
More grace Lord, more grace! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

God bless you!

I am thankful for this. I believe in the power of God. I surrender my all to Him because He is sovereign. May His will be done in my life.
Carol may God continue to use you as a vessel. Amen ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ
