EBENEZER (2)

Ebenezer!   (Thus far has the Lord helped us)
It is a Hebrew word meaning “stone of help”, originating from the biblical story in 1 Samuel where the prophet Samuel set a stone to commemorate Gods help in victory over the Philistines. This was to serve as a reminder of divine assistance.

Once again we find ourselves at the threshold of a new year.
I don’t know about you, but for me, myself and I, this year has run.
We literally entered January a few months ago, or should I say seconds ago 😅 and today is the 29th of December?!
Simply amaaaazing!

I’m sure a review of this year brings mixed reactions to many.
For some it may have been a year of breakthroughs and answers to prayer, but for many who have lost loved ones, it’s been hard.
BUT GOD!

God is good allll the time and all the time God is good.
His goodness is not dependent on the circumstances of our lives. It is who He is.
God is still God.
He never promised us that we would be problem free in this world.
In fact, Jesus assured us that we would have problems, but to take heart. Why?
Because He has overcome the world.
Hallelujah!,💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
He promised to be with us in the “when’s”.

John 16:33 NLT –
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me.
Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows.
But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

Isaiah 43:2 NLT –
When you go through deep waters,
I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
you will not be burned up;
the flames will not consume you.

So we thank God for the good, the bad and the ugly.
We thank God that He has been with us through it all.
We thank God for His love that is so high, long, deep and wide.
We thank God that as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love towards us and that as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions for us.
We say “EBENEZER”!

We entrust the new year into His able hands in the mighty name of Jesus!
Amennnnnnnn!

God bless you!
😊🙏🏽
