WHERE IS OUR GOD???
I was at the Heaven 2 Harmonious Chorale concert last night, that is, the 26th of October, 2025.
It was amaaaaazing!!!
One of the questions that was asked during the waiting time for concert to begin – “What does heaven mean to you?”.
If I were to answer, I would have said that heaven to me means staying in the presence of God forever; worshipping Him continually with the hosts and choirs of heaven. Music which would be beautiful beyond imagination; bowing down in the presence of the Lord God Almighty, because the beauty of His holiness would be too much for me. A place of no more pain, tears or sorrow. Joy overflow! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
Now to another question : “Where is our God?”
As I’ve always said, hymns are beautiful and on a weekly basis I am blessed by the hymns that are sung during church service.
Hymns speak of the attributes of God.
Hymns speak of the struggles of this world, but ultimately encourage us to put our hope and trust in God.
Who else can we trust, but the God who does not change; the God who is faithful, Even when we are faithless. Yes, THAT GOD.
He is the I AM THAT I AM. Glooory to His Holy Name! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
What is the story behind this hymn?
It was written by Capt. Tackie Menson (yes, a Ghanaian!), and is a prayerful expression of faith and trust in God, even during the times of struggle and mystery.
It acknowledges that God’s purpose may not always be clear, but expresses the hope that His will will ultimately be revealed and praised.
Can I get an “Amen!” 😄
So the answer to that question is this – God is right there with you, with me in this journey of life.

He is right there, walking with you, always by your side unless you’ve allowed yourself to drift away from Him
Even then, He waits for you with open arms to come back home, just as the prodigal son did. What are you waiting for??
