TRUST

What does it mean to trust?
And how is trust different from faith?
Or does one encompass the other??

From the WordWeb app,..
Trust means to have confidence or faith in something

Aaaah,…see.. the word faith has appeared! 😅

From the same app,.. faith means complete confidence in a person or plan.

Nice one!

Thankfully,..that wonderful Word of God defines faith for us in Hebrews 11 🤓

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Hebrews 11:1 NIV

Confidence — another word is defined as a feeling of trust; freedom from doubt.

Interesting how the words are used interchangeably

Also:
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6 NIV

And

As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
James 2:26 NIV

Where am I going with all this??

One of the lessons learnt by one of my dear colleagues turned specialist after her exam was this:
”I will just trust and praise God no matter the situation.”

I pray she never forgets this.

In the same way..here I am thousands of feet up in the air; going into an unknown.😊

Guess what’s keeping me
— my trust and faith in God.
That He is with me and ordering my every step.

Indeed
🎶 Kept by the power of God
We are kept by the power of God
Day by day; come what may
We are kept by the power of God. 🎶

Amen!!!!!

God dey paaaaaaaa!
Keep trusting in Him.
Who else can you trust who is dependable as He???
🤓

I’d love to hear from you.

Trust and obey! For there is no other way, to be happy in Jesus .. but to trust and obey!

I’m so glad. It’s a pleasure to be a vessel.

Pray that God keeps them coming.

      God bless you!
