UNTO US A CHILD IS BORN!

Who doesn’t love the sight of a new baby?
I can practically hear the oohs and the aahs as the baby coos and fusses by nearby women.
The sight of a baby can soften even the hardest of hearts.
As one of my friends will say – ‘my ovaries!’
I’ve adopted this term myself!

You’d wonder why after all the trauma of childbirth, a woman would want to get pregnant again and start the journey all over again.
We forget ooo.
When you hold that baby in your arms,.. you forget.
Such a wonder, that this little being came from your body..so fearfully and wonderfully made by God Himself.

God loved us so much that HE GAVE, He gave of His own.

Romans 5:7-8 NLT –
Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good.

8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

Jesus came into the world as a baby,..I’m sure a very cute one .
Christ is the sign of our hope as believers.
He has given us victory over death, sin and the grave.

All we need to do is accept that He is Lord and Savior of our lives.

Gospel hand, 12345,

I have sinned
Jesus died for me
And if I receive Him, I’m saved

Isaiah 9:2-7 ESV –
2 The people who walked in darkness
have seen a great light;
those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness,
on them has light shone.

3 You have multiplied the nation;
you have increased its joy;
they rejoice before you
as with joy at the harvest,
as they are glad when they divide the spoil.

4 For the yoke of his burden,
and the staff for his shoulder,
the rod of his oppressor,
you have broken as on the day of Midian.

5 For every boot of the tramping warrior in battle tumult
and every garment rolled in blood
will be burned as fuel for the fire.

6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and of peace
there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

We thank God for this precious gift.

THE REASON FOR THE SEASON IS CHRIST. PLEASE DON’T FORGET IT.
LET’S NOT TAKE CHRIST OUT OF CHRISTMAS.
(I cringe when I see the word “x’mas”)
