What He’s Done

Isaiah 63:7 NLT - I will tell of the LORD’s unfailing love. I will praise the LORD for all he has done. I will rejoice in his great goodness to Israel, which he has granted according to his mercy and love.

What He’s done.
What came to mind when you read the title of this blog?
For me, it is a song with the exact title – What He’s done.
What has He done for you?

This Sunday school song comes to mind:
He forgave my sins and He saved my soul
He cleansed my heart and He made me whole
Stop and let me tell you
What the Lord has done for me. 😄

Another song:
I don’t look like what I’ve been through
You turned my pit into a well
So the essence of my praise is centered on your grace
Adam, Adom, Adom (Adom means grace)

And then the title song:
See, on the hill of Calvary
My Saviour bled for me
My Jesus set me free
And look at the wounds that gave me life
Grace flowing from His side
No greater sacrifice.

Many songs huh?

We thank Thee for the hope,
So glad, and sure, and clear;
It holds the drooping spirit up
Till the long dawn appear;
Fair hope! with what a sunshine does it cheer
Our roughest path on earth, our dreariest desert here.

What has He (Christ) done for you?
Who are you telling?
We would call that a testimony wouldn’t we? – sharing your personal story of how God has worked in your life to give a witness to His power and goodness.

Isaiah 63:7 NLT –
I will tell of the LORD’s unfailing love.
I will praise the LORD for all he has done.
I will rejoice in his great goodness to Israel,
which he has granted according to his mercy and love.

Why are testimonies important?
• It’s yours
• It brings glory to God
• Your testimony demonstrates God’s power
• Sharing your testimony and even your current struggles showcases the love of God 🥰
• Our testimonies promote togetherness
• We should share our testimonies because God doesn’t want us to forget
• It’s important to share your testimony because it is your weapon
• Your struggles will lead to a celebration

Mark 5:18-20 NLT – As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon possessed begged to go with him.
19 But Jesus said, “No, go home to your family, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been.”
20 So the man started off to visit the Ten Towns of that region and began to proclaim the great things Jesus had done for him; and everyone was amazed at what he told them.

What has He done for you?
Who are you telling?

God bless you!
