The miracle of life,…
Life is a miracle, and every breath we take is a gift.
I recall when I started my residency in Ophthalmology. Many of us entered thinking there was not much when it came to the eye. A small organ in the body that occupies a socket or orbit of about 30mls.
Our conclusion after a short period?
There is more to the eye, than meets the eye! 😅
To think our bodies are made up of so many other systems working together in unison, created by our amazing God! Wow!
A few days ago, I found myself thinking some not so good thoughts which had the potential to do harm if I dwelt on them.
These were the words I found myself thinking and I bless God for the song:
I’m gonna have a testimony
Of how You brought me through the night
But even in the middle, I’m singing
My God, this is what a miracle feels like
The most beautiful stories come from all the broken times
So don’t lose your hallelujah
This is what a miracle feels like
The verses are just as encouraging.
The song focuses on finding faith, recognizing God’s presence during hard times, and experiencing quiet breakthroughs before a final resolution arrives.
The core themes, I found online, are the following:
– faith in the fire – God is present even when it is hard to feel.
– In the middle – instead of waiting for the end of a struggle, we are encouraged to praise and worship right in the middle of the pain.
– quiet miracles – a miracle is not just a dramatic final victory, but peace and praise (“your hallelujah“) while still in broken times.
Philippians 1:6 NIV – being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7 NIV – Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV – Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
May we never forget that God is with us whatever phase of life we find ourselves.
The I AM THAT I AM is with us and has promised never to leave nor forsake us.
Be encouraged and always remember to fix your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.
Amen and amen!
Psalm 28:7 ESV –
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults,
and with my song I give thanks to him.
God bless you!
