Be Led

This short phrase.
I heard it twice on Sunday.
One was in writing and the other during church service.
My spiritual antenna went up immediately (didn’t know I had one ๐Ÿคฃ – I’m kidding pls ๐Ÿ˜…)

What does it mean to be led by the Holy Spirit?
I understand it as being sensitive to His leadings as we read the Word, fellowship, pray and go about our daily lives.

Many call it that still small voice
That inkling you have about going in a particular direction when driving; to reach out to someone whose name is out of the blue placed on your heart,.. the leading to avoid a certain path or decision.

There are so many examples.
The Holy Spirit doesn’t leave us,..but when we grieve or refuse to listen to Him..it becomes difficult to hear from Him.

For eg ๐Ÿ˜…, when I went on message break,..my excuse was that the inspiration was gone. Wrong answer!
As my mum told me,..the HS is there,..He’s simply waiting for you to come back to God.
That was the correct answer. ๐Ÿ˜Š

So as He directs,.. I write.
I cannot even take credit for these messages.
I’m simply a vessel.
So all thanks be to God!!!

Galatians 5:16-18 NLT –
So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you wonโ€™t be doing what your sinful nature craves.
17 The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.
18 But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses.
