JESUS SAVES!!!!

By Carol Clegg-Lamptey Last updated: September 16, 2023 2 Min Read

I was listening to the hymn and I was struck by something,..well,…struck by a lot 🤣

I am by no means innocent of this charge.
Lord have mercy! 😬

When you have good news; how do you behave?
Aren’t you giddy with excitement to tell the next person ‘the good news’?
Then why are we as followers of Christ, not as enthusiastic with the Good News ?

Good news, good news
Christ died for me
Good news, good news
If I believe
Good news, good news
I’m saved eternally
That wonderful (extra!)
Good news!!

And this Good News has an impact on eternity.
Eternity!
The action of accepting this Good News is a matter of life and death; a choice between heaven and earth.

Mercy!

May we not hold back telling the Good News.
Sharing Christ with people we come into contact with.

You can always tell what interests someone has by what they speak about.
Men and their passion for football.
Women and fashion.

May we be passionate about sharing Christ.
It is of more value than anything else.
May the Lord grant each of us the grace and the willing heart.
God can do great things with and through us.

Romans 10:14-15 NIV
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?
As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

God dey paaaa.
😊

Let’s share the good news with someone today  — the GOOD NEWS!

I’d love to hear from you.

Please leave your comments in the comment section below.

God bless!

    Good morning Aunty Naa.
Indeed, Christ died for us! Thank you for always sharing the good news with us.
If i could add, Romans 10:10,
“For with the heart, one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved”.
we are justified as BELIEVERS, when we receive and believe the good news in our HEARTs. (Why not the mind, or any other part of the spirit being in us)
Then he added, with our mouth, we confess the good news and are SAVED.
I see a SPIRITUAL LAW here. With our hearts, our identities are justified and with out mouth we proclaim, confess, pray, declare, instruct, birth, command, decree, say, speak our salvation. Caution: the opposite is also true. When we believe with our hearts we are sick, then we are justified to be ill, and when we make the mistake to confess it, kpa-what we feared in our hearts will happen to us.
But If one is to be healed of ones infirmities, your heart receives the good news of healing, with your mouth you confess your believe. You are SAVED.

I totally agree with this one. Whether we’re at home or at work,, we need to make the effort.
Let’s trust God to grant us strength to the work and the Holy Spirit to do the rest. 😊🙏
