Above all
We have one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.(Ephesians 4:6)

One of the verses or passages that simply excites me, points to the supremacy of Christ:
Philippians 2:9-11 NIV –
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
That’s our Lord!
Above all powers, above all kings
Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here before the world began.
We are in interesting times. The world feels topsy turvy.
When one reads the prophecies about the things to come it can be unsettling and bluntly put, scary.
BUT GOD!
His kingdom is from everlasting to everlasting and it shall never be destroyed!
The world has taken many turns hasn’t it?
A few years ago we had the COVID pandemic and literally only God knows what is to come.
We fix our eyes on Him.
He has promised never to leave nor forsake us.
May we live lives that display the pre-eminence of Christ.
The world may misuse and abuse the name Jesus, but we know the God we serve.
We know there is power in the name of Jesus.
May the good Lord bless and keep us all.
May we stand firm in our faith.
May we give our God all the glory, honour and praise that is due Him, no matter what season of life we find ourselves in.
Above all kingdoms
Above all thrones
Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
There’s no way to measure what you’re worth
May the name of the Lord be praised now and forever.
