What is hope?
Biblically, hope can be defined as the confident expectation of what God has promised and its strength is His faithfulness.

I know what it means to live a hopeless life. (Boy do I! πŸ˜…πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ)
And I know what it means to live a life of hope. Praaaaaaaise God!! πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½
These two are worlds apart.
To be able to jump out of bed, in spite of what may be going on in your life or world because of hope; a hope that is living, a hope that is JESUS! πŸ˜πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎ

God never promised us a problem free life in this world. Not at all.

John 16:33 NIV – β€œI have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

Look at the prophets of old. Was their life perfect?? Far from it!
The prophet I feel for deeply is Jeremiah. πŸ˜…
Described as the weeping prophet. It seems like he was almost always the bearer of bad news. Yet, He faithfully served God.

Look at Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith and what He went through on the journey to the Cross. Ooooh my!! 😒πŸ₯ΊπŸ˜¬

At the Cross, at the Cross,
Where I first saw the light,
And the burden of my heart rolled away
It was there by faith , I received my sight
And now I am happy all the day!

He did that for me and you. What manner of love is this?? πŸ₯°

Jesus is alive! He sits at the right hand of God, interceding for you and me. (Romans 8:34)
Death could not hold Him captive. Even in the grave, He is Lord! πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎ

He has gone ahead of us to prepare a place for us in heaven (John 14:3), where there will no more death or mourning or crying or pain (Revelation 21:4). We shall live with the Lord forever!
Hallelujah!!! πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½
Does that not give you hope??
It sure should!

If you find that you’re feeling hopeless, ask yourself what you’re fixing your eyes on.
Fix them on Jesus.
He is our Living Hope!! πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎ

Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There’s salvation in Your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope

Amen and amen!
God bless you!
